"Clustering" in the domain of VR-Systems refers to the process of clustering multiple computers to render images for a single application or
application group. This technique allows you to run e.g titled displays and caves
with multiple projectors,  doing stereo with two computers or bundling the
resources of your whole network to produce better images with a higher performance.

If it is a really good impl. you can do dynamic-load-balanced rendering Smiley
