Hi there,

I don't know if this applies to the forum but I want to know if anyone could help me out.

I'm making a java application that loads and view different X3D files. I have roughly 90 different files that I'm using for the project and the outline of it is to have a 3D model viewer that loads and displays the models. The models are categorised by area and by types of models which are both drop down menus. I've already programmed the user interface in java. I'm using Xj3D to load the models in and I believe that it's configured correctly.

My question is, is how do I load the .x3d files into java. Once I know how to load on of the files in, I'll be able to load the other ones in by myself.
