Hey,

when using the walk mode in an immersive environment (CAVE or Powerwall, Optical tracking) it always seems to be as if the user floats above the floor. Reducing the parameters of avatarsize to [0.25, 0.0, 0.0] solves the "floating". It looks as if the "viewers height" and the "tallest height the viewer can walk over" are added to the point of view. In the desktop window everything is fine.

Why is that and is there any way to stop this behaviour?

I'm not sure if I remember this correctly, but I think, the field "sceneScale" of the NavigationInfo node defines the scale of your (CAVE/...) environment. I might be totally wrong here, but I think, in our CAVE we had set a value of 2500 for a wall size of 2.5 m -- but trying out some values should be worth a try...
