 Hi All,

thanks to an example from another thread I got shadows to work, but I'm having one final problem: I need to exclude some objects (e.g. the sky dome) from receiving shadows, as it just looks pretty silly to see shadows on it. In my case it's doubly silly as I use a spotlight with 0 color to have tight effect shadows, and that gives me a hemispherical shadows on the sky (see attachment)...

I can see that I can exclude objects from throwing shadows, but it doesn't look like that prevents them from receiving them...

Any ideas/hacks how I can avoid that?

Preventing objects from receiving shadows is not possible at the moment, since shadowing is done in several passes: in the first pass, simply a color (and depth) map containing the standard rendering results (as rendered without shadows) is created, which is then internally modified/ darkened according to the depth comparison in a PolygonForeground.
As a workaround, you can use the SkydomeBackground  instead...
